Telework Coalition Announces Award Recipients

The Telework Coalition (TelCoa), dedicated to promoting the benefits of teleworking and telecommuting, today announced the recipients of their Annual Telework Awards. "We recognize the people and organizations who further the adoption of telework and telecommuting and encourage others to follow in their footsteps" said Chuck Wilsker, Executive Director of TelCoa. According to John Edwards, Managing Director of TelCoa, "These awards promote and foster advances in the field of telework, telecommuting, and remote working, and provide recognition to leaders and innovators in telework, whether they are corporations, government organizations or individuals."

Awards were given in 15 categories:

International Telework Award to BOB FORTIER, President and Founder, the Canadian Telework Association
Non-Profit Organization Telework Award to AARP
Telework Research Award to AT&T
Telework Call Center Award to ARO, Inc.
National Print Media Telework Award to TONI KISTNER and NETWORK WORLD
Local Media Telework Award to WTOP-AM/FM - "Sprawl & Crawl� Telecommuting Today, STEVE ELDRIDGE"
